# Prepare your drop schedule

After you've finished setting up your smart contract, you will able to redirect to **Edit collection** page. On the left side of the page, click the **Settings** section.

Decide whether you prefer a **Limited Edition** or **Open Edition** drop. In a limited edition collection, there is a set quantity of items available for minting. Conversely, an open edition collection has an unlimited capacity for minting items within the designated minting period.

Specify the **Number of items** and the **Mint start date & time**. You can edit the start date until the time of the drop.

## Public stage

Public stages are phases of your primary mint sale during which anyone with enough funds can mint from your collection.

During this stage, you have the option to set a fixed sales price, enabling anyone visiting NFTDeal to mint directly from the smart contract using your drop page.

You can update the **Name**, **Sale price**, **Duration**, and **Per-wallet mint** limit for the public sale.
