# Creating NFTs

Before getting started, make sure you have connected your wallet to NFTDeal. Click on the **"Create"** button at the top right of the website. Now you will see the page to create and customize your NFT.

1. Upload the file you want to convert into an NFT, accepted formats include image/video/audio/3D model.
2. Fill in the necessary descriptions for the NFT you are creating. Detailed descriptions of your artwork will help promote sales.
3. You will also see the option for **"Collection",** allowing you to group your NFTs into a collection. If you choose the default, a default collection will be created when you connect your wallet and set up your profile. Later on, you can create your own collections. If you have multiple collections, you can easily add your NFTs to the collection you select.
4. Select the Category, Standard (ERC721, ERC1155), and the number of copies of your NFT. Then click the **"Create"** button.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nftdeal.gitbook.io/eng-user-guide/creating-nfts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
